Now that the warm weather comes, this recipe is great as food nice and cool. In my house I do like I prefer because I don’t like most of ingredients but my grandmother made for the whole family and go into the belly without thinking. I always stick a binge because I eat very pleasently. I hope you control better than me and enjoy this great food. Enjoy it:)
Russian salad
Ingredients:
-3 potatoes
-2 carrots
-100 grs. green beans
-150 grs. pea
-350 grs. ham
Mayonnaise sauce:
-1 whole egg
-1 / 2 lemon
-1 / 2 liter of extra virgin olive oil
-Salt
Preparation of the mayonnaise sauce:
Step 1: You start to beat the egg in a blender with a dash of olive oil, lemon, salt and apinch of mustard. The ingredients should not cover the blades of the mixer (20 seconds).
Step 2: You stand and add the remaining oil. Put the blender about 3 seconds
Preparation of the Russian Salad:
Step 1: Peel the potatoes and carrots. You have to divide them dice. Wash beans, remove the strands and cut into squares. Remove the peas.
Step 2: Place to heat water to boiling. Then add the vegetables to become vapor. Cover until tender but whole. Remove and let cool. Add the ham, cut into tiny dice.
Step 3: Salsa Mayonnaise: Put in a blender the eggs, salt and a squeeze of lemon. Add oil slowly while beating with electric mixer. Verreceta of mayonnaise.
Step 4: Add the mayonnaise on the above ingredients until mix well. Serve with parsley, chopped olives, anchovies, tomato sauce drawings.
Variants / Secrets / Tricks:
Tip 1: The mayonnaise should make it nice and thick. To make it: Do not remove the egg from the refrigerator just before, allow it to room temperature, the ingredients should not cover the blender blades. You can add a little mustard to the sauce.
Tip 2: For the potatoes out harder to cook them later, once the carrot you are just minutes away. It's better than the potato is rather hard. If it goes soft, to make it better squash cubes. This is a more compact way to mass their own salad.
Variations: The above ingredients are "classics." It also supports well other ingredients such as apple slices, nuts, canned asparagus, celery, white, tuna and shrimp tails, cooked and peeled (potato salad with seafood).
Decorations: The decorations are important if you plan to serve it on a table: asparagus, bell peppers, red peppers, tomato sauce, stuffed sliced olives... apart from giving it a great flavor to the salad. (436)
