Chocolate with "churros"

I suggest a snak to end with those Christmas meals. We are going to do a delicious tea that make us a little bit fatter this holidays.


These are the ingredients that we need to prepare the chocolate with churros:

For the hot chocolate:

-200 grams of chocolate to melt.

-1 liter of whole milk.

For the churros:

-200 gr of bread flour.

-1/2 teaspoon salt.

-1 teaspoon baking soda

-320 g of water.


For the preparation of churros first thing we have to do is put the water to heat and bring to a boil.

When the water reaches a boil add the salt, baking soda and flour and gradually sifted to avoid lumps. Remove from heat and cook for about five minuter or so and stirring until you have a dough.

Now we have to cool the mass of churros and stand at least fifteen minutes spread on a flat surface. You can put on the kitchen counter but it has to be very clean. (LOL)

We put in a deep pan oil sunflower to heat and then introduce the mass in a "churrera". Once we have it with that golden colour, very careful because it will brown very quickly, we remove to paper towel to release the excess oil and cool slightly before eating.

We have tea with the development with hot chocolate and the first thing to do is put he milk until it boild and cut the chocolate into chunks.

Just when it comes to boil remove from heat and add the chocolate, stirring constantly and until we see that it has melted. We open the heat again, now simmer, and when it boils again we have to retire it and all this without stop removing the chocolate to avoid that it doesn't stick to the pan.

We repeat the same operation above, bring to a boil and remove from heat, again for the third time we have our hot chocolate ready to serve with churros that we had prepared previously.
